How I Can Help

Psychology from the Soul is not intended to be a self-help guide. If such a guide existed, there would have to be one for every individual, because each person experiences reality in their own unique way and finds their own way of responding to life’s challenges.

The purpose of this space is to share psychological knowledge and thoughtful reflection from a perspective that recognises each person’s uniqueness. Rather than offering universal answers, I hope to create a place where readers can pause, think, and perhaps begin to understand themselves a little more deeply.

I believe that while we are not responsible for everything that happens to us, we are responsible for the way we respond to our experiences. Personal change begins when we gradually become willing to recognise our own patterns, our choices, and the meaning our experiences hold for us. It is through this process of self-understanding that new possibilities can emerge.

Professional Experience

My professional background includes:

  • A year-long clinical placement at a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre supporting people living with severe mental illness.
  • A bachelor’s dissertation focused on dual diagnosis, exploring the relationship between addiction and mental health disorders.
  • Ongoing professional development through postgraduate study, specialised courses, workshops, conferences, and clinical training.
  • Individual psychological therapy, both in person and online.

Talks and Community Work

Alongside my clinical practice, I have been involved in educational and voluntary initiatives aimed at promoting psychological wellbeing within the community.

These include public talks on:

  • Loneliness in later life.
  • Grief and coping with death in older adulthood.
  • The challenges of active ageing in the 21st century.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I also volunteered by providing free online psychological support, offering emotional containment, guidance, and psychoeducation to help people cope with the uncertainty and isolation of lockdown.
